My Approach

Therapy That Begins With You

I don’t believe you need to be fixed, and I don’t assume that I know what healing should look like for you. My role is to offer a steady, nonjudgmental relationship where you can slow down, listen inwardly, and begin making sense of the emotions, patterns, and protective parts that have been carrying so much.

Our work may include conversation, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, exploration of attachment style, somatic processing, or acupuncture when it feels appropriate. We won’t use every tool simply because it is available. Your experience will guide the process, and together we’ll find an approach that feels safe enough for honesty and deep enough to create meaningful change.

Different paths into the work

No single method fits every person or every concern. I draw from several approaches and choose tools based on what you need, what feels accessible and where the word naturally leads.

Mind-Body Integration

Grounded in a person-centerd relationship, individual therapy for adults or adolescents may draw from IFS, EMDR, Hakomi-informed work, attatchment theory, expressive arts and sand tray. Together we'll find ways to understand what is happening both beneath the surface and in the present moment.

Couples work draws from Imago Relationship Therapy, attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy. We'll look beneath recurring conflicts to understand the needs, fears, and patterns shaping your connection.

Emotional experiences also live in the body. Somatic processing, nervous-system awareness and optional acupuncture can support regulation and help us reach what words alone may not.
